Premium Food Intolerance Test

The Premium Food Intolerance Test is designed to test for reactions to 200+ food and drink ingredients, including grains, dairy, meats, fish and shellfish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs, spices and drinks. It uses a simple finger-prick blood sample and measures all four subtypes of food-specific IgG.

This test may be suitable for people experiencing symptoms such as digestive discomfort, headaches, fatigue, skin concerns, joint pain or weight management difficulties. IgG-related food intolerances may involve delayed reactions, which can sometimes appear hours or days after eating a trigger food.

Understanding Your Food Intolerance Results

Results are presented in a simple traffic light format:

RESULT Meaning
Green – Normal Reactivity IgG antibody levels are within the normal range. These foods can usually be consumed as normal.
Orange – Borderline
Reactivity
IgG levels are borderline. Reducing these foods may be beneficial.
Red – High Reactivity Elevated IgG levels. A temporary elimination period may be recommended.

Important Before Testing

If you have avoided certain foods for more than six weeks, your IgG levels for those foods may not show clearly in the results. If you are avoiding foods due to known reactions, we do not recommend reintroducing them purely for testing. However, if you would like certain foods included, they would usually need to be eaten regularly in the weeks before testing.

Real Experiences with Food Intolerance Testing

NADIYAH, 28

Symptoms: Bloating, uncontrollable acne, irregular bowel movements and excessive flatulence.

“I’m feeling much better. Now I know what foods to limit.”
Nadiyah, a 28-year-old graduate student, struggled with bloating, acne, irregular stools and flatulence for five months, which sometimes impacted her productivity. After discovering The Beauty Alchemist online and seeing good reviews, she took the test during a summer promotion to identify potential food triggers.

The test revealed intolerances to gluten, egg yolk, peppercorn and cow’s milk. Removing these foods improved her symptoms in just one week, with less bloating, normal stools, better acne control and reduced flatulence. While adjusting her diet was challenging, the nutritional consultation and customer support helped her manage her triggers effectively.

Nadiyah now feels more comfortable and confident in her daily life, empowered by the knowledge of what foods to limit.

MICHELLE, 54

Symptoms: Indigestion, acid reflux

“So pleased I tested myself and my children — great results and an outcome for life.”
Michelle Daniels, a 54-year-old housewife, suffered from severe day-and-night indigestion and acid reflux starting in December 2023. Her symptoms disrupted her daily life, requiring medication, sleeping aids and lifestyle adjustments like sleeping upright.
Unable to bend over or perform household tasks, Michelle turned to The Beauty Alchemist after receiving an email from her partner’s work.
The test identified intolerances to milk and fatty foods, which were causing her reflux. Within 48 hours of eliminating these trigger foods, her symptoms subsided. She could resume daily activities, play with her youngest child and found household chores easier. The process was manageable once she identified suitable alternatives for her family.
Michelle now follows her diet plan on weekdays and limits indulgences to weekends. Any overindulgence brings back mild symptoms, reminding her of her intolerances.

Food Allergy Testing

Food allergy testing looks at IgE-related allergy responses and can test for a selection of food and environmental allergens, including common triggers such as egg white, milk, fish, shellfish, wheat, nuts, soy, pollen, pet dander, house dust mites and mould.

This type of testing may be helpful for people experiencing symptoms such as:

  • Itching or Tingling in the Mouth
  • Swelling of the Lips, Tongue or Face
  • Wheezing
  • Nausea
  • Hives
  • Difficulty Swallowing
  • Faintness or Severe Reactions

If you have symptoms of a severe allergic reaction or anaphylaxis, you should seek urgent medical attention.

At The Beauty Alchemist, your consultation will help identify which test may be most appropriate for your symptoms, lifestyle and goals, allowing us to guide you towards clearer insight and personalised next steps.

In most cases, fasting is not required for food intolerance or allergy testing. However, this can depend on the specific test being carried out. You will be given clear instructions before your appointment so you know exactly how to prepare.
Yes. Your results will be explained in a clear and supportive way, helping you understand what has been tested, what your results show and what steps may be worth considering next. You will not be left to interpret the results on your own.
No. Food intolerance and allergy testing does not diagnose medical conditions. It can provide useful insight into possible triggers or sensitivities, but it should not replace medical assessment.
